The slogan is the pay off of the Italian communication campaign. “Milan is ready for this extraordinary international event.” From Tuesday 4 to Sunday 9 April, the city prepares to welcome more than 300,000 visitors from over 165 countries and more than 5,000 journalists from around the world! SaloneSatellite, international springboard of design under 35. With over 10,000 youth and more than 270 prestigious international schools, arrives in Milan with a double event:

Collection SaloneSatellite 20 years, projects commissioned 40 internationally renowned designers

the second is SaloneSatellite. 20 years of new creativity, a retrospective exhibition curated by Beppe Finessi at Fabbrica del Vapore. It collects the best of the products presented at the fair as prototypes and then went into production. Appointment to Pavillon 22:24, with free admission to the public from 5 Cargo.

Euroluce 2017, the lighting exhibition (Pav. 9-11 and 13-15). Over 450 exhibitors! From domestic lighting systems to home automation, software for light technologies to solutions for energy saving and environmental sustainability. With a focus on LED sources and home-automation!

Workplace 3.0, the furniture fair for the office (Pav. 22-24), in response to the changing world of work and to new market needs, renews its exhibition proposal with an innovative concept dedicated to the design of workspaces . In this field it enters the exhibition A Joyful Sense of Work. The displays are organized by leading architectural firms. Studio O + A (First Orpilla and Verda Alexander, United States), Ahmadi Studio (Arash Ahmadi, Iran), UNStudio / SCAPE (Ben van Berkel and Jeff Povlo, Netherlands), 5 + 1AA (Alfonso Femia and Gianluca Peluffo, Italy ).

DeLightFuL – Design, Light, Future, Living (Pav. 15), a path set by Ciarmoli Queda Studio on the theme of the new use domestic spaces, a way of living the more fluid and flexible home. Without distinction between traditional functional areas and barrier between public and private. An integral part of the story is the short film DELIGHTFUL. Set in a futuristic scenario where the internal / external border vanishes and decor is the real star.

xLux, (Pav. 2 -4), the sector dedicated to luxury with ‘Classic: Tradition in the future‘. A new format for the mobile and the classic complement that is divided along a promenade that ends with a theater. It will be repeated short on the 2016 classic mobile director Matteo Garrone.

Space&interiors 2017, details for the architecture, the event ‘fuorisalone’ by MADE Expo. Dedicated to finishes for architecture at The Mall-Porta Nuova (4-8 April 2017). Furthermore the exhibition (Absolute Lightness) designed by Migliore + Servetto Architects.
