The Festival takes place in the Vittoriale degli Italiani amphitheater, in a context rich in history, and in its marvelous park, elected in 2012 “Most beautiful park in Italy”. A place suspended between art, culture, nature and beauty.

In the first seven editions we hosted the most prestigious and interesting names in music and international entertainment: Lou Reed, Ben Harper, Burt Bacharach, Keith Jarret, James Taylor, Joan Beaz, Damon Albarn, Paolo Conte, The National, David Byrne, Giorgio Albertazzi, Eleonora Abbagnato, David Larible, Patti Smith, Pat Metheny, Filippo Timi, Franco Battiato, Momix, New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company, Ludovico Einaudi, Stefano Bollani, Paul Weller, Steven Wilson, Arto Lindsay
In 2015 Mario Biondi, one of the most loved Italian artists in the world, shoots the video for “Love is a temple“, the first single from the album “Beyond“, a gold record in a few weeks. His concert at the Festival on July 12 is shown live on radio and video on RTL. In 2016 it is the turn of Enrico Ruggeri, who at the Vittoriale sets the video for “Il volo su Vienna“, inspired by the D’Annunzio enterprise.

With 26,000 spectators, in 2018 attendance confirmed the steady growth, being more than doubled compared to 2010 compared to 2009. We have a 100% theater filling average index. 85% of tickets are sold online and purchased from all regions of Italy and around the world: tickets have been sold in 56 countries since 2011, including Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, USA, France, Belgium, Russia, Switzerland, Estonia, Thailand, Australia, Argentina, Finland …

Hailed by GQ Italy as one of the 5 most mature festivals in our country, along with historical reviews like Umbria Jazz and the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds, for each edition of Tener-a-mente there are over 600 press clippings on national newspapers of large TV, radio, print and online broadcasts.
